Areas we work across

Environmental challenges often cross technical and regulatory boundaries. Our work currently focuses on the following areas, with specialist engineering brought in where required. Each area below is a starting point rather than a catalog, and individual technology and solution pages can be added under each one as our work develops.

Industrial Energy Efficiency & Decarbonization

Reducing energy intensity and emissions across industrial processes and utilities.

We look at how energy is actually used on site — process demand, utilities, steam, compressed air, cooling — and identify where proven technologies can cut consumption and emissions without disrupting production. Detailed engineering work is carried out with the technology providers and specialist engineers appropriate to each case.

Typical scope
  • Energy and emissions opportunity assessment
  • Electrification and fuel-switching options
  • Preliminary technical and economic assessment

Heat Recovery & Thermal Energy

Capturing waste heat and returning it to useful work in the process or in utilities.

Waste heat can represent a significant untapped resource on industrial and commercial sites. We identify where recoverable heat sits and match it with recovery, upgrade and storage technologies suited to the temperature levels and duty cycles involved.

Typical scope
  • Waste heat opportunity assessment
  • Comparison of heat exchange, heat pump and upgrade routes
  • Thermal storage options for load shifting

Water & Wastewater Technologies

Treatment, reuse and resource recovery for industrial and municipal water streams.

We work with treatment and reuse technologies that fit the specific stream — its contaminants, volume and variability — rather than a standard package, and consider the regulatory and discharge context from the start.

Typical scope
  • Identification of relevant technical requirements
  • Reuse and closed-loop water concepts
  • Technology comparison and provider coordination

Circular Economy & Resource Efficiency

Keeping materials in use through recovery, valorization and by-product routes.

Residues, by-products and side streams often carry recoverable value. We assess what can realistically be separated, upgraded or redirected, and which technologies, regulatory conditions and off-takers make that viable.

Typical scope
  • By-product and side-stream opportunity assessment
  • Material recovery and valorization technologies
  • Resource efficiency across the production chain

Energy Storage

Thermal, mechanical and electrochemical storage for flexibility and cost control.

Storage changes when energy is used, not just how much. We assess storage options against tariff structures, grid constraints and process duty cycles to identify where they earn their place, working with providers on the detailed design.

Typical scope
  • Application assessment against load and tariff profiles
  • Thermal versus electrical storage comparison
  • Integration questions for on-site generation

Environmental Innovation

Bringing proven technologies with potential for new applications and markets to sites willing to demonstrate them.

Some challenges have no established local solution, even though relevant technologies are already proven elsewhere. We identify technologies with potential for new applications or markets and help structure the demonstration or first local deployment needed to establish their fit.

Typical scope
  • Technology scouting against a defined need
  • Demonstration site identification
  • Structuring pilot and first-deployment projects

Policy, Regulation & Implementation

Evidence-based policy and regulatory work for problems that equipment alone will not solve.

Environmental challenges are not always solved by installing equipment. Some require changes in policy, regulation, incentives, responsibilities or market structure. We support evidence-based policy development by defining the problem, examining international approaches, assessing the Israeli context, identifying stakeholders and implementation barriers, comparing policy instruments and developing practical recommendations.

Typical scope
  • Policy and regulatory research
  • International benchmarking and gap analysis
  • Stakeholder mapping and policy option development
  • Technical input supporting legislation and regulation
  • Implementation strategies and roadmaps

Detailed engineering design, specialist calculations and legal drafting are carried out by the technology providers, engineers and professionals appropriate to each project; our role is assessment, coordination and advancing the work toward a decision.

If your challenge does not sit neatly in one of these areas, it is usually worth a conversation anyway.
